I chose this establishment following a recommendation in a guide to estaminets., completely unknown so. We must admit that the first appearance seems “rustic”, simplistic. But don't worry about it. The map is short and simple, it is said to be a freshman and it inspires confidence. I have, for my part, chosen Flemish carbonade, perilous dish if it is. Meat should be of good quality, not too fat (gelatinous) but not too dry (unpleasant) the sauce must be sweet-salted and not embellished with onions and all-peu. Well, I can tell you that the carbonades were excellent, a slaughter and fries served are at the same level. Same for fries, perfect. My wife chose the beef tartare, she found it perfect itou. We finished the meal with a cream burnt toffee with salted butter served just as needed. In short, I recommend estaminet ste Cécile, it’s good, very affordable and the welcome is very friendly.
