Empire Hotel - QUEENSTOWN

We had the pleasure of staying in this most beautifully quaint and 'old worldy ' accommodation. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing, for this we are so very thankful. The menu for both lunch and dinner were surprisingly sophisticated for 'Pub food ' but our absolute compliments to the talented chef for delivering mouth watering, scrumptious meals time and time again. Service matched the high quality food that we had quickly become accustomed to. Highly recommend The Empire Hotel!

Bar staff we very friendly, as was a lovely 85 women have her daily drink. Food was excellent, especially the pepper sauce, best I have ever had, well deserved 5 stars

Beautiful wood staircase had the Scotch fillet and it just melted in ur mouth.

Don't ever let the outside put you off going in. The Heritage Blackwood staircase is an absolute classic, great food and service. If going through Queenstown I plead with you to stop for a drink, meal or overnight stay!�Cheers

We had 2 great nights there, you can't fault the staff, the food is the best we have had in Tasmania and the history in the building unbelievable. A credit to all who work there
