This establishment is ideal for an informal breakfast or lunch with outstanding views of Port Phillip Bay as an added bonus. The food is fresh, well cooked and generously portioned. Highly recommended and reasonably priced.

The Breakfast Was Amazing, So Much Flavour. We had breakfast before birding the ferry and we were delighted. So much flavour to everything, the tomatoes and mushrooms were divine, eggs cooked perfectly. Was so nice having such a lovely breakfast that had some love put into making the breakfast. I would highly recommend this cafe.

The food would 've been expensive for the price we paid if it wasn 't for the 'Sail to Lunch ' package $39 for main, drink, dessert and return ticket from Sorrento Queenscliff). Otherwise it was fine.

All the lovely reviews made us travel the bus stops right upto the end of the line, and boy, were we not sorry at all. The first thing was the warm friendly staff who really are interested in your comfort and well being. We walked in on this cold rainy day and there was no delay in seating us, while adhering to all the precautions for Covid19 social distancing. The staff was friendly with lots of suggestions about the menu and the specials. We ordered the Seafood Chowder and the Captain's Breakfast (yep, we were hungry). The food was delivered in very little wait time, despite the reduced crowds. The Captain's breakfast was scrumptious, crispy bacon, amazing greens and oh Lord, those whole button mushrooms left me wanting more. I asked for my eggs poached and the eggs were well done, the proper immersion way, not the cling wrap shortcut that most brunch places do (hardcore brunch lovers will get this). Now the Seafood Chowder was another thing altogether. Rich creamy flavourful broth with a generous mix of fish, clams, prawns and scallops. And the portion size was BIG. We could not finish it, even though you just could not stop eating. On a cold rainy day, that was the kind of meal that fills you up and warms your heart at the same time. The place is perfect if you're waiting for the ferry, or if you just want to enjoy good food with a great view of the sea. I'd definitely go back again and again.

Yummy lunch deals. You can have your cake to go if travelling on the Ferry back to Sorrento. Just at the end of Ferry pier in Queenscliffe. Lovely walks nearby.
