Benambra Bed Breakfast - QUEENSCLIFF

We stayed in this bed breakfast from the 1880s in the last few days. It has new owners who are refurbishing its 9 rooms from head to toe in what can be only descibed as high end beautiful. From the time you arrive are greeted by the congenial host to walking into this beautifully decorated house and in your room you are greeted with a basket of beautiful cotton towels, a fresh lavender flower a note of welcome with your names on it and another basket of goodies weetbix, crispy fruit packets, fig nut bars, raefello chocolates, muffins, apples in the fridge 2 different juices, milk sparkling water yogurt, crisp linen on tbe bed with a great doona you'll feel pampered. Lovely lounge with fruit, lollies, coffee tea making, cookies, plates, glasses etc. a fridge. A nice bathroom with a shower was attached to our room. Great location in the main street of Queenscliff. We will miss Bee the host Reuben the dog especially. Just loved it. Rooms: See my review. Nearby activities: Shopping, eating, short trip to the wharf with some nice retail shopping restaurants where you can get great seafood as well as fish chips cafe right near the ferry to Sorrento. Walkability: The B B is in a quiet end of the main street of Queenscliff, Hesse Street. Noteworthy details: The host has put in place all the things that you would love to have when you book to stay in a B B.

This really was a beautiful cottage , spotlessly clean and had everything we needed . Loved the hamper that was left so very thoughtful, such beautiful quality towels and bathroom products. My husband and I stayed 2 nights , we will definitely stay again . Wonderful hosts that were so helpful with booking . Highly recommend 10/10 Rooms: 5 Service: 5

A lovely place to stay for a weekend getaway. My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago, and would most definitely stay there again. Lovely, friendly hosts, and the breakfast the next morning was just what I needed! Note for anyone with coeliac disease, this is a super safe place to stay and eat at, as the hosts are really knowledgeable and careful. All breakfast items are gluten free, and they even have a separate GF toaster. Rooms: 5

Clean tidy and covid safe. Old fashioned decor has been kept. The people that own it are fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable Geoff does some of the town tours. Ann is also very knowledgeable as both grew up in the area. We will stay there again when we are back in the area.
