Mean Poutine - Queensborough

Food tastes great, but SUPER skimpy with the fries and toppings. I ordered a large and the box was barely half full, I asked for an empty small box, dumped the LARGE poutine in and it fit perfectly. Fairly cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Beware. They charge you for extra and then they don't add the extra to your order. On top of it, they're so rude when you opt out for certain things, to wish you never came here in the first place. Avoid, there are better options around for food. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Complained about hairs in food The owner told me over the phone that I called earlier that day about Uber eats or whatever. Never did, it was my first interaction with them ever. When I called her on it, understandably, not wanting to have things thrown on my name that never happened, she seemed to get upset and threaten to disconnect the call. At which point, she proceeded to call the cops and tell them that I threatened to burn down the restaurant. Do not, ever go here. The owner is an absolute psychopath. To make up these things about someone, is absolutely evil. I'm actually baffled that someone like this even owns a restaurant. For whatever reason, she seems to believe she can say and do whatever she wants with no consequence. When you come here, you're supporting that type of energy. Looking into prosecuting this in civil court, as what happened here was absolutely disgusting, reputation harming slander. I will, make sure that it doesn't go unchecked. Do not support people like this who have zero morals though. Absolutely disgusting. Edit wanted to add that those working here were awesome, super kind, respectful people. All love and respect to them. This is why I was so surprised to hear such things said about me, because in spite of my dialectic with the owner, my interaction with the staff was great. Amazing people. But apparently I threatened to burn down the restaurant? Insane.. I don't even understand the mentality of making this kind of stuff up and I hope she feels every ounce of karma for it. I will be seeing that can be done legally as it'd absolutely madness that someone can slander your name unjustly, with no consequence.

This place has amazing poutine. Southern BBq is to die for. I get it at least twice a month. People behind the counter are always nice. And the food comes out pretty quick. When I have friends in town I bring them here and call it my spot . Will be back ! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch
