It’s a beautiful 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The atmosphere is really cool; it’s a small, old-school spot with a classic cashier and an oven in the corner, and they only accept cash. The pizza was reasonably priced for the size and tasted fantastic! I tried the sausage slice, a regular pepperoni, and a square pepperoni with paprika. The crust was crispy with just the right amount of bend, and everything was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside but still soft under the toppings. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you have some time to kill before heading to JFK!
The pizza was delicious. I requested that they make my slice crispier, and they delivered. I found the slices to be a bit thin and small, but they were packed with flavor. I ordered a regular slice.
The service was somewhat frustrating, but our pizza was absolutely delicious!
It took me nearly four years to finally visit New Park. The pizza was good, but I've definitely had better. There wasn't anything particularly special about it.
Absolutely worth the 16-minute drive from JFK! I ordered the big pepperoni cake to enjoy there. Please note that they only accept cash. My total came to $31, which included two Cokes.
