The first time when they were ready for omakasi they were not ready, 15 minutes late, no personality, only sit over there and wait, finally we go back to the table and they are unorganized and do not make this an experience they only add this table for taking nothing authentic, food quality 2.5-3 of 10, chew the chef steve was amazing, explained everything, personable, respectful and knew how to work with. steve didn't let us go out last night

Far and away the best sushi in bayside! masaaki can compete with spots in manhattan or outside on the island. I can't wait to go back.

A gorgeous new restaurant with excellent quality sushi. Service was cordial. Fish was beautifully prepared and presented. We will be back!

We did the Omakase experience and it was superb. You dine in the back and sit with the chef who makes everything right in front of you. They explain the dishes and carry on conversation. Everything was fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back and do the experience again.
