Uncle Bear's Grill Tap - Queen Creek

Bears is a lovely restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere. They often have music or karaoke, making it a fun spot to hang out. However, I’ve noticed that the quality of the food has been steadily declining over the past ten years. It used to be exceptional, truly top-notch, but while it’s not bad now, it just doesn't measure up to how great it once was. The service is usually good, and occasionally you’ll have a server who really stands out. Overall, the vibe is fantastic, and the dog-themed decor on the walls is charming and adds value to the experience. I really love this place!

We visited on a rainy night with a group of 12. We opted to sit outside, and the service was decent. Given our large group, I understand that they were busy trying to accommodate everyone. At times, it felt quicker to grab drinks directly from the bar rather than waiting for the waitress. Our food took over an hour to arrive, which was disappointing, but once it did, it was absolutely fantastic! Everyone loved the dishes, which definitely made up for the long wait.

We arrived around 8 PM on Friday, and unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot with a rude hostess. She responded with attitude when I inquired about switching to a different seat. It took an unusually long time for anyone to attend to us at our table. We ordered an appetizer and waited a considerable amount of time for it, but instead of the appetizer, our main courses were brought out. Our server, however, went ahead and served the appetizer we had canceled since it arrived after our meals, which was a nice gesture, and we received it for free. However, the fish and chips left much to be desired; they tasted like something you'd find in the freezer section of a grocery store, which was quite disappointing. On a positive note, the beers we ordered were good.

When you walk into Uncle Bears you feel a great vibe and atmosphere. Has a local feel with plenty of TV screens to catch a game and a large bar area that looks great to spend some time watching your favorite AZ team. We went at lunch time on a Sunday andit was ok food. There wasn?t a lot of flavor and I didn?t get a choice of how I wanted my burger cooked. This isn?t there faultbut the water was horrible, maybe they should invest in a filter system for the tap water they serve to get rid of the foulsmell and taste. Oh the outdoor patio is nice and relaxing as well.
