I would recommend the tour very much, the oils, balsamikum, dressings and all the other things they can raise their hands. absolutely delicious! after the tour we stayed for lunch and eating was incredible. I loved the kapitel sandwich and pommes, my man thought his Italian flatbread was full of taste, and my aunt said the Italian high time soup was some of the best she had. I can't expect to come back (hopefully in the early part) to see the olive flowers! if they have the opportunity to visit, I would highly recommend.
We just pulled here and tried for the first time today! so much to see and eat and enjoy! we ate outside and enjoyed the beautiful morning. there is a coffee shop, lotions, beauty thing to buy, wein, mimosas, **** Mary?s and so much more. it was amazing! there were live music outside that we really enjoyed. it was relaxing! They also made tours! I can't wait to bring my family here when they visit us. this is perhaps our new place. I can't wait to come back. I even have to try free wine tastings.
I love this place. it is a great location for people who hang up for family, friends or couples. when they enter the ange, there is a huge outdoor area with tables in an olive garden. there are sometimes also events that also take place, and so they will see event stands and live music (they have a garlic each year! . there is also a restaurant and a gift shop. the restaurant has really good food and also served alcohol. the gift shop sells various types of olive oil, vinegar, reductions and seasonings made by olive mill. there are also other products such as soaps, lotions, and a lot of snacks, sweets and chocolate as well. I have already visited this place some paints and have taken over family and friends when they all visit them enjoyed it! they also offer tours of the mill so that they can see how they make the olive oil. I recommend this place very much!
A visit to the Olive Mill is a treat! It is located a bit further out than I expected, and we found it to be very crowded on a Saturday midday. The parking lot was full but we noticed that spaces would open up and fill quickly. Inside was no different, busy but brisk and the lines to pay moved fast. We opted out of taking the official tour today as it was very hot and only visited the store and restaurant. What was nice is that they have water misters over the outdoor seating tables and we enjoyed the live outdoor music. We had a pistachio gelato (delicious) and prickly pear lemonade for a snack, and then sampled many of their unique flavors of oil and balsamic vinegars. A wonderful shop to purchase unique gourmet foods and gifts, mostly around the theme of olive oils, vinegars, dispensers, candies, pastas, soaps, lotions, lip balms, and candles.
As other reviewers mentioned, there is a lot to visit in the mill. we were just there to eat, no place for a paleo diet, but eating is pretty good. as the sign in the kitchen says, good food needs time, thank you for your patient! the personal is a bit roaring at the end of the day, and on a busy day especially it takes a while to get her food. if they have time to hike the aisles of food counter / fine food shop, they take some time to taste the sorts of olive oil and several sauces and seasoned. it is worth spending a 1⁄2 hour exciting her taste buds while waiting for her dinner to be ready.
