The drinks were served soon. After that he came with a bowl of water for our dog. The food came rapidly and was very good. Simple and good!
Here we were served the largest schnitzels we have had while travelling in Germany. However, size does not make up for quality and although very tasty our schnitzels were overlooked and a little dry. Service was rushed and a bit 'slap dash'. The price was fair but don't get caught out by not having cash. Other food customers were served all looked good.
Maybe the clock did not turn 12 yet when we walked into (the terrace of) this restaurant and decided to have a lunch instead of just a drink. The kitchen was open already and within half an hour this terrace was packed with few tourists and (probably) many locals.Ordered schnitzel, Balkanteller, frites (probably the best we ever ate) and fruit juice for a relatively cheap price, more important of outstanding quality! Service was a bit slow, food was delicious! Highly recommended.
Delicious food, we went all in on schnitzel and most of us with pfifferling - now it's the season. But when it came to the waiters the standard was not as high as the food and we did quite a lot waiting. But when the food is good its just a minor detail and the staff was friendly enough, just a bit slow.
Was only a 3 min walk away, so thought we would try it out.Sat outside and it was busy - Tuesday night, not sure how busy inside though.Food was excellent - service a little slow but wasn't a problem, menu in german so come prepaired.Owner was very helpful but as with most of Quedlinburg, limited English.Enjoyed our night out and food was excellent. We were staying at the nearby Le Palais Apartments and the owners look us there for dinner on our last night, again great food - really couldn't fault it.
