Restaurant Le Clarendon - Québec

There's a charming, elegant air about the Hotel Clarendon. The crisp, white tablecloths and the serene atmosphere in the dining room put you in the mood to enjoy a leisurely dinner. The service was unhurried and gracious. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the fish of the day (salmon) and the petoncles (half a dozen plump scallops). The creme brulee made with maple-syrup was delicious, followed by complimentary coffees. There is a good wine list with some wines available by the glass.

This place needs more dining room help.The maitre d took our order. She forgot the wine and in addition the pour was not sufficient. We waited 40 minutes for the bread. The portions were very small. don't count on splitting an order. Maitre d was kind enough to " comp" the wine. Service was awfull. Waited over an hour for dinner. Would not recommend or come back. Limited menu. Food was about a C.

The cupcake is desert after their scrabbled eggs great bread and onion home fries sausage/bacon and great coffee...My mouth is watering ...and it's conveniently located next door to tourist center...where walking tours are available...

Had Christmas dinner here. Very overpriced for what you receive. Food was average in taste. Small portion sizes. I was disappointed & would not dine here again.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel and had breakfast here one cold morning. It was delish, and we wanted to have dinner here, but ran out of time.
