We wanted some light, and the muffins we ordered, fit the bill and were very good. coffee was excellent. bright and comfortable atmosphere.
I must have my tomorrow cappuccino, but try to visit the local facilities instead of the local diets if possible. in this case, a few blocks from my hotel was the cafe castelo on av. cartier. when I joined a short series of regular. I was warmly welcomed on the first day and my knowledge of languages were very happy, despite their obvious ability to speak English, if necessary. besides providing a quieter, local, vibe, the fullness of local French language newspapers allowed me to practice my French, as I relaxed before the start of my day. the coffee itself was delicious, beautifully presented, and better than the usual chain business experience. the croissants and muffins I tried were top notch. in the run of a few short morning I was a familiar face that was greeted joyfully and my regular order already thought. I was very glad to make this part of my routine when I was in qc.
A wonderful local cafe. All the beans are locally raosted and individually ground. Take you r pick of 30sih different coffees from around th eworld. You can sit in the cafe or next door inthe art gallery. The staff are very friendly and have great...suggestions of the local sites, restuarants and points of interest.
