Eggsquis - Quebec City

I absolutely love this restaurant! It was our first visit, and the service was fantastic. My children enjoyed it very much as well.

Always fantastic service! The atmosphere is lively, with a nice pace. The food is absolutely delicious!

First, we had to wait quite a while at the front, but I understand they may be short-staffed, so I don't hold that against them. However, there is room for improvement. Initially, we received only a single cup of coffee, and there were no refills throughout our visit. The server didn't return, likely due to being busy. I get that it’s challenging, so I don’t want them to take this personally, but as a customer, it felt like the coffee situation really detracted from our breakfast experience. The food itself was quite dry and uninspiring. My mom had the croque monsieur, which was a small round sandwich with an egg and a little meat. There was no real flavor or special touch to it. Combined with the lack of coffee, it made for a disappointing meal. I had the brunch special, which I believe was called that, and I have to say the sausages were great and perfectly cooked, while the beans were quite enjoyable. I really liked the beans! However, the potatoes were bland and lacked any sauce or unique seasoning. They were cooked well, but they needed something extra to elevate the dish. The eggs, on the other hand, were tiny and seemed to be overshadowed by the rather plain potatoes. It felt like they were cutting costs. I would be willing to pay an extra $5-$7 for a proper-sized egg with some sauce—after all, your restaurant is called "Eggsquis." These small details were disappointing for a breakfast establishment. If I had to suggest a primary focus for improvement, it would be these aspects. Thank you for your time, and I truly hope you all thrive here and enhance your menu. What a discovery!!!!! close to my home. The welcome is warm. We feel welcome. melissa is a bead in customer service. lunch at only $8.75 served in 2 minutes. delicious. I will come back ...often!!!!!!
