The fact that they have their own beers, brewed in-house makes things even more interesting. However, do not expect much from the kitchen. Hamburger far from being the best. Poutine is ok... well... it's a poutine.
The best place we visited in Quebec! The setting was great and comfortable, with a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for a second visit. The beers were excellent too!
We went to three Les 3 Brasseurs and this was my favorite location. Located inside the massive mall area in Quebec City, it was fairly busy but no wait to be seated. It was loud and hot, which are the only negatives for me really. Same menu as the other locations. You can get their brewed on site beer or any number of cocktails. I tried two different sangrias and they were amazing. Shared a poutine flat bread pizza. Wow. Was actually the best poutine I had on the entire trip. Our waitress was nice and attentive even though she had a group of about 12 next to us (loud) as a long table. Prices are great for the quality. I'd return to this location for sure.
This is a lovely restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Although I don’t speak French, the waiter kindly arranged for an English-speaking server to assist me. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, which were high-quality and made with flavorful ingredients. Overall, a great dining experience!
The crowd here is mostly college students, likely because University Laval is just down the street. It creates a lively, youthful atmosphere, which I personally enjoy! As for the food, it was decent. The nachos were good, although they didn't come with beans, and overall, the menu is pretty typical of what you'd find in the States, particularly California. Interestingly, I haven't seen many Mexican restaurants or people around here, but there are plenty of fast-food options like McDonald's, Burger King, A&W, Subway, and KFC (which is called PFK here, standing for "Poulet Frit Kentucky"). The wings were well-fried and tossed in the hot sauce we ordered, which was quite vinegary. Speaking of condiments, I've noticed that vinegar packets are available everywhere, even at McDonald's—I guess they like to sprinkle it on fries. The rest of the food was just okay; the pizza was so-so and needed more sauce. The salad was pretty good, though, and my beer was excellent—just one for me tonight. Overall, it's not a bad spot for our last night in Quebec. Tomorrow, we'll be heading back home to California, but we’ve had a fun food adventure. Au revoir!
