Café Lux* Trianon - Quatre Bornes

Came in quickly to grab an ice coffee and latte for my mum. Service was quick and the coffee was good...what really impressed me were the macarons. The shells were full and the fillings were flavourful without being just sugary. The chocolate and pistache were particularly good. Having tried them in many countries, I felt this was amazing quality. Do try them if possible, they're 60 rupees each.

Rapid service, smiling team and all sanitary measures are being followed. Small suggestion though, please also request ID and proof of vaccination upon verification. Surely one of favourite café near Quatre Bornes.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday at 4:42 PM to order two hot drinks. Unfortunately, it took nearly 30 minutes to receive them, despite the place not being busy. The drinks sat on the counter for over 10 minutes before we got them. I had to return one drink because it was cold, and the other one didn’t taste good at all. The only positive aspect of my visit was the friendliness of the staff. Overall, the drinks were not worth the money.

I remember passing by this shop once when it was nearly closing, and I needed to buy something for my little boy. The woman at the cash register told me they couldn't take any payments since the counter was closed, but she generously offered the item my son picked out for FREE. I don't know her name, but I hope she recognizes herself. Bless her!

We arrived on a Sunday morning at 8:30 AM, which is when the restaurant opens. However, the waitress informed us that we couldn't enter yet as they weren't ready. Along with another family, we waited for about 15 more minutes but eventually decided to go somewhere else. It seemed like they were casually chatting inside and didn't seem to care.
