Pho Chay Nhu - QUAN

This was the first time we had in vietnam pho and it tasted really good! it came with a large plate of crumbling and some lime and chili. because our first time tried pho at a local location we were not really sure what to do with order, because there was no menu and the dame serve not speak English and our vietnamesen is embarrassingly not existent, so the experience was a little confusing. we could have tasted some of the other foods on the display, but we didn't know they were available there. I would go back if I returned to hcmc.

This is the best pho i’ve had in my life so far....

This pho place is down an alleyway but very easy to find. We ordered two phos plus a couple of items that were on display in the cabinet EVERYTHING was delicious. The items we got from the display had a nice combination of flavours of sweet and savory, with great texture, and the phos were simply the best we've tried in Saigon. Actually, in all of Vietnam (to be fair, we didn't try much pho in many other places)!The prices cannot be beat, it was only VND for each pho! So amazing! And the taste packs so much more value. Highly recommend!

Best to come in the morning when the counter is full of goodies and fresh product. We've had the pho on separate occasions and it has been delicious every time. It's great to watch the food being prepared fresh in front of you and the antics of the owner and staff is like watching a TV show. Always something going on. They have a dish like a tofu onion terrine. Be sure to try a piece it's wonderful.
