Riverside Mongolian Grill - Puyallup

Hands down the BEST hot sour soup EVER. I make it a point to get some any time I'm in the area. I like that you can fill up get a big to go plate as well. Great people work there we honestly don't go to any other Mongolian Grill anywhere!

The only area for improvement would be the interior cleanliness. The walls, ceiling, and dining area could use some maintenance and a good cleaning. The reception area at the entrance feels cluttered, and the decor is a bit outdated, but the food definitely makes up for it. As for family-friendliness, it's a great spot for kids; they just need to pay an additional $15.00. Parking is also convenient, with plenty of uncovered spaces available.

It pains me to write this review… I’ve been a loyal customer for nearly ten years, but now that I live 50 miles away, I returned to find that prices have more than doubled. I don’t understand the high tipping expectations and the constant turnover of staff. I appreciate that the Korean family running the place needs to support themselves, but paying $21 before tip for a basic lunch feels excessive. It truly saddens me because I can no longer afford to dine here. This restaurant used to be bustling with activity. Perhaps it's time to rethink the business strategy and consider implementing a more profitable approach, like charging by weight? It seems unreasonable as it stands.

This is the best Mongolian grill we've ever visited. It's great to see familiar faces among the staff. There's something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

I had a fantastic experience at the all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ, which also offers gluten-free options (just ask for the gluten-free tamari sauce). It's often difficult to find places that cater to dietary restrictions like this. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone with gluten-free needs!
