Costa - Purley

I had a delicious ham and cheese toastie that was beautifully made. I forgot to request a shot for my coffee, so it ended up being too strong for my taste. The staff were wonderful and friendly.

The food and drinks here are excellent, and the interior is beautiful and very comfortable. However, I feel that Costa can be a bit expensive, with sandwiches and drinks costing over £5 each.

Great place with very friendly staff. They always get my coffee just right and make it perfect. However, the interior could use a bit of an update; it feels old and outdated. You can notice some broken items, non-functioning lights, and the chairs and tables seem a bit worn. It gives off an impression of an old pub, which isn't the vibe Costa aims for. While it is clean, the decor definitely feels dated. I think Purley could really benefit from a well-designed coffee shop, and perhaps attract a better clientele as well.
