This really was the best meal we have eaten this year. We stayed and ate here last year and the gods didn’t disappoint again.
Lovely hotel with very cheerful and friendly staff. Food top notch. Ideal base for Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door and of course the rest of the Isle of Purbeck.
Stayed nights at Limestone Hotel at Lulworth Cove and overall enjoyed our stay and were lucky with the weather. Staff were mainly friendly and the food was good at both dinner and breakfast. We found our room (Library) rather small with no chair and...the bathroom was also small with a shower cubicle which we found difficult with washing ones self being so small.. The water pressure was good and plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable and everything else was ok for a short stay. Each room had its own parking space although it could be difficult for those with large cars. Tables were spaced out due to Covid and everybody observed the current rules. We were aware that we were booking one of the smaller rooms and priced at b&b we were quite happy.
We stayed in Lulworth to go walking, Unfortunately Storm Alex had other ideas and after a very wet day walking to Swanage. We walked down from our bnb in the rain to the Limestone. The menu was varied and the octopus and venison were outstanding.... The staff were knowledgeable and we had some excellent wine to complement the meal.Great find and we will definitely come again on a dry day !
