Costa Coffee - Purbeck

I used to visit Costa at Lifeboat Quay in Poole every day. The coffee was always great and the staff were friendly. However, since the manager Reece left, the quality has gone downhill. There is no area manager now, as he has also left. The current temporary manager is waiting for her new job at the new Costa location at Holes Bay Roundabout to be finished. She is rude to her staff in the office and in front of customers, where everyone can hear her. The staff work hard while she sits in the office, is on her phone outside, or does her shopping at the nearby Asda. She can't even order sandwiches and rolls, which is unprofessional. Most of the week, she blames the hardworking staff for any mistakes, causing them to lose money.

The staff is friendly, but during my last visit, there were flies landing on the table and tea cup. As a regular customer for the past two years, I have noticed this issue multiple times, indicating that it is a longstanding problem that requires attention.

Excellent Costa Coffee. Perfectly situated with a lovely outdoor seating area. The staff were polite and welcoming, and the drinks were superb. A fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a refreshing beverage.

Really great staff that are always so helpful, and always have great quality drinks. A really popular costa, with a lovely atmosphere.

Two amazingly friendly ladies served me today. My husband had just had a minor op and wanted a Costa so I popped in and ordered 4 different drinks. They were happy, smiling and really made my waiting experience lovely. Thank you ladies !
