There is so much to say about this little soda, but the pictures will profess my love for Soda Tiquicia more than I can ever. Prices are cheaper than tourist sites so if you do not need a “fancy” atmosphere, this is the place to satisfy your belly.
We came to dinner as it was recommended and we were not disappointed! It is towards the northern end of Santa Teresa on the mud road so is quite dusty walking there, but when we arrived, it was busy so that she showed us on the balcony floor, which was beautiful and spacious. We ordered some beers, ceviche and some local dishes fish in shrimp sauce, fish and vegetables and chicken and salad. The quality and quantity of food was great and it was also very reasonable at about $10 per person
My friend and I spent our last night there and we were thrilled to have the fried red snapper and it was so delicious! Also great service and chilled atmosphere! Can be highly recommended and value for money is particularly good for usually quite expensive Costa Rican prices.
Best place in Santa Teresa for breakfast. Old school Tico Essen. The place is much cleaner than average and also increased from the road without garbage nearby and strong ceiling fans, so no fly that is a big problem in the busy places deeper to the road. Great music, great service, good prices and generous portions. Very good coffee and fresh fruit drinks made to order. Quick Wi-Fi.
This soda is definitely a must go if you are looking for something different from the typical fancy restaurants in Santa Teresa. It is a bit far away from the center approx 15 minutes towards Playa Hermosa but then you can find an authentic place with typical pintos, casados and very nice fish fillets. The atmosphere is a bit old fashioned but I think it’s part of the experience
