If you enjoy immersing yourself in local culture... You have to eat where the locals eat! Cafeteria style ...no menu... you show and serve.... I ate some food, I didn't know how it would taste until I ate it! A true culinary adventure. Great portions... great price.

This is the best place we have eaten in Costa Rica. I am mesmerized how much this country has shaped to American taste. It's really hard to find an authentic restaurant. The cappuccino is $1.5 amazingly good and cheap. On the other hand, the same cappuccino is $6 in most places. I'd eat here every day and drink coffee here every day.

Rústicos catered our group breakfasts and dinners for 3 days while we were in Jaco. Their meals were fresh, generous and offered a variety for all appetites. They even made a few of our favorites from home when our students needed a change. They were extremely accommodating and very generous!
