The prices were quite reasonable. I had the 3 course fixed menu for 30 soles (only under $10). The menu changes daily and there are 3 options for appetizer, main course and dessert. I had the pumpkin soup, Andean trout and banana crepe. Herbal tea was also included. The portions were large and everything was delicious. My friend ordered the Alpaca-Steak with mushroom sauce from the menu, which was delivered at about 35 soles. Our two ducks came with potatoes and vegetables. My friend said it was the best meal he had in his 8 days in Peru. I usually try to stay away from hotel restaurants because they are usually overpriced and don't have many food options, but I'm very grateful.
After hearing a lot about the Peruvian cuisine, I really got from what I found in more than a week and different places, except very simple popular places. Yesterday evening we decided to choose the restaurant of the Royal Inn Hotel (where my friends stayed)...as most appreciated places had shows and we wanted a quiet place. The three of us had a really excellent meal! For me both the first, a fusion Peru France Patato dish and the main course, grilled Alpaca with vegetables were unforgettable! My friends, where also very satisfied with soup and trout or Alpaca dishes. The service was very attentive, without being pushy and the wine (an Argentine Malbec) was very good. Prices where reasonably reasonable and the pleasures of an elegant dining room with a beautiful fire for heating that is necessary!
This restaurant is located in Royal Inn Hotel, Puno. came here for dinner, out there the weather was bad. Her meal for 30 Peruvian Nuevo Soles included soup, deer, drink and dessert. (About $10. USD . pricier than the small squares on the street, but... still good for a big hotel. Dinner was good. Service attentive (and we stayed dry! . We also ate a part of our tour group including breakfast. Typical breakfast of toast, eggs, breakfast meat, cereal etc.
