Rooms: Great quality and clean. Walkability: Need car to get there. Food drinks: Lovely food and served well. Rooms: 5
Thank you for another amazing stay. We have stayed at the Pulford Grosvenor a few times now and wouldn't go anywhere else in the area. The hotel is located a short distance from the city centre, zoo and Cheshire Oaks. We stay in the rooms with the spiral staircase. This time we much preferred the use in the downstairs area, which had a sofa/sofa bed and tv rather than our other rooms which were more changing/dressing areas. The rooms are spacious and our room had a view over the zen garden and countryside. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We did notice that the hotel didnt have the relaxing piano/harp music playing in the reception area or the nice smelling candles burning. It did change the ambiance in that area but that's just our personal preference. My wife had a massage in Kasia spa. Again the staff were very friendly and helpful as normal. We didnt get chance to use the pool or gym this time but is a great bonus if you stay at the hotel. We ate in the refurbished Nelsons bar both nights. Im not sure if they were short staffed on the second night as there was noone coming around to check if we wanted more drinks, unlike the first night. Both nights the food was great. Highly recommended if you want something less formal than the Palms, which we have also eaten at. Breakfast as normal was excellent and very relaxed. A great selection to choose from (even for fussy eaters). Sadly when we went to leave, we noticed someone had driven into our car in the car park (cracking our bumper) and driven off. We know this wasnt the hotels fault but it took the shine off our stay. Saying that, we had another great stay. We will definitely be back and well worth us travelling over 200 miles.

Pity there is no 0 star rating available. In the short words avoid at any cost. Book yourself a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge as a bare minimum but you will know what you are paying for. Noisy parties making impossible to sleep, complaints not dealt with. Customer service non existent. Overpriced faff. Location the venue itself beautiful. Only staff ruins the impression. Complaining customer is openly ignored. Rooms: quality and cleanness doesn't reflect the price tag Food drinks: customer needs to put a lot of effort to be noticed Noteworthy details: beautiful venue, needs more attention to detail, a bit of dusting would definitely help; omnipresent cobwebs do not impress much
