A really nice woman put my order together and was polite, clean and efficient. She said the whole WELCOME TO MOE 'S greeting with a smile. Moe 's if you 're listening, you 're going to need more than a greeting to keep your customers. Anyway, this is an employee you WANT working for you. THEN her boss comes out, takes cash payment and keeps $2 of my tip for himself. He said and I quote, Here 's your change and this is for me. I thought he was kidding! I was shocked by his behavior because I 've never encountered that before. I 've worked in restaurants since I was 14 and this was a first. I was going to tip more, but I was so taken aback. I called the store when I got home because that didn 't sit well with me. 1, tips are earned. 2, is he keeping it all when he didn 't put my order together? 3, he screwed the whole staff out of a bigger tip! Management didn 't care when I called- zero concern about customer relations, etc and Corporate didn 't care when I followed up with them. I wasn 't looking for a free meal or my measly $2. I wanted someone who knew better to say, hey, maybe don 't act like that? I 'll never get what I want, but that says more about them. This location is a joke. Chipotle is close by. If you are a returning customer and you want to tip, find out the name of the nice person who is helping you and give them a holiday card with a tip in it just for them. Then other less deserving employees can 't ruin a good thing.
