The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived at lunchtime (1.30pm) so even though the place was nice and clean and well appointed, there was really zero atmosphere to speak of. The service was good and efficient, and the food was pretty good. We ate the sushi matsu and my partner had a sizzling beef pepper rice with an ice tea shake. The beef pepper rice came out really sizzling on a metal platter, but parts of it were still raw when delivered so they needed the platter to actually cook it. Don't be afraid if this happens, you just have to make sure the thin slices are in contact with the metal. However the sushi was warm and this transferred to the salmon, tuna and so on above it, which made me feel that this wasn't really how I would expect sushi to be served, or to taste. Nonetheless it was a reasonable portion for the price and we are pretty well. We both agreed this place is about a 7/10 overall, but the reviews here only allow for marks out of 5 so we gave it a 4/5.

A surprising find of a great Japanese restaurant service great sushi, ramen bowls and great al la carte menu options. Ate here several time during my stay in Puerto Princesa and would recommend it to anyone. Julius in front of house was more than welcoming and the rest of the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Very nice indeed. Why isn’t it full yet the mostly terrible mall ‘restaurants’ next door at SM Mall are busy? Come to ‘We Be’ instead; swerve the SM mall queues and have a proper meal. Inexpensive. @Fleuris hotel Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
