La Ponderosa Del Mar - Puerto Plata

Excellent sea bass, perfectly prepared. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A little loud with the street noise, but the atmosphere is very comfortable. Very recommended

A great local seafood restaurant in the Puerto Plata area. We were celebrating a friend who had just won a MMA fight. The owner was great and made sure we all got seated quickly and taken care of. It was fairly busy, but we were well taken care of. Great drinks and they kept flowing most of the night. We got to pick our own lobsters and give them to the cook, before he cooked them up perfectly. The Seafood is very fresh Food didn't take to long to prepare and was fantastic. Total local vibe of the area. They had some fun music playing. Great Food, Great Atmosphere and Great Prices! If I am ever in the area, I would definitely come back!
