We stopped here on our long journey back to San Jose. We left Cahuita early and were starving by the time we got here. Service was pretty fast. Our waitress was pleasant. The pour over coffee was a big hit. Delicious. We ordered an empanada and Gallopinto with scrambled eggs. The rice and beans was not as good as we have had during our trip. Seemed a little greasy. They had great WiFi that was XM and fast. Everything tasted good. We would eat here again. We also had the pleasure of watching monkeys play in the tree behind the restaurant. Fun.
An average restaurant on the border of the highway. Convenient for a quick lunch.
Very good value food. Friendly staff and not too busy. A welcome break on the road to St Jose.
It was a nice place to stop and have a snack. The kids had fun playing in the swingset while awaiting food. But.... my son brought to the table an indoor toy he found at the kids table and slammed it on the dinner table and out ran a million ants
