Village Inn - Pueblo

This is the only time since visiting Village Inn for 8 years that I received a bad meal. It was not busy at the time and I don't understand why the food was prepared so badly. The omelet was way overcooked. The waitress Did not have sufficient knowledge of what was on the menu. I specifically asked her where the pick the 4 wanted Is to make your own meal. She did not know of such a deal on the menu. After ordering something else and looking at the menu I found the order four which has been on menu ever since I can remember. I reiterate the fact that this is the only time I have had a bad experience at Village Inn. This was my last visit at this establishment since this happened. I'm sure if I went again the service and food should be good as it has been.

We don't get a lot of orders from this Merchant but when we do they have always been ready upon arrival. One Saturday morning we got like six or seven orders back to back and every time we got back to the restaurant it was ready to go. The greeting staff is friendly. This is the Village Inn on the southside. We do not recommend the North Side location so be clear when accepting orders from Village Inn which location you are picking up from.

This use to be the place for the gourmet breakfast and the caramel pecan pie, for the last 5 years, we purchase at least 1 whole pie about every other Friday, well last Friday the caramel pecan pie that we usually get was changed, the good caramel at the bottom has changed it is now a gritty orange filling that is not good, I feel everyone should know, it has gone from great to not so good.

Have to say prior to their last attempts with the French dip sandwich and finally coming down to what I had today was great. Cut up tender meat with a french bread bun. It was delicious, I hadn't ordered it in years because they keep changing the bread and such but if they keep it how it is now people will appreciate that. Oh and the deluxe club was awesome as always....

The waitress was incredibly sweet. The eggs were cooked just right, but the biscuits and gravy dish didn’t meet my expectations. The hamburger was enjoyable, and the French fries were good as well.
