However, we only got a chance to explore this place last night. There is a candy counter called Sri Krishna Sweets on the ground floor and the restaurant is on the first floor. The dosa (more precisely masala dosa) was huge (similar to the other places where these south Indian products are served) and poured out of the plate. Decorations were minimal but necessary. There was a banana leaf under the dosa, which gives it a special feeling when you are enjoying your Tamil meal. Chutney, sambar and pudina really matched the dosa. Nothing more to add, nor would I dare.
This restaurant / candy store is on Mission Street. After a busy day in the city, we decided to take an evening coffee break here. Also, Sri Krishna Sweets is a famous name that has been around for a while and so we didn't think twice about it before going inside. The restaurant is divided into two floors. The lower is devoted to sweets and treats, while the first floor has service seating. We wanted to get a light snack with our coffee. We were apparently too early for the snacks and had to be satisfied with Parotta Kurma. First the ambience. It's decent, nothing out of the ordinary. It is surprisingly not very busy. People clearly prefer A2B and other popular outlets over this one. There are around 4-5 tables on the first floor. Next up is the food. The item we ordered was unfortunately disappointing. The parotta was hard. The kurma was too hot. We ordered our coffee shortly after and it was good. The service is ok. The candy store on the first floor is good. We tried the Boondi Laddoo and some hearty snacks and really liked them. Just come back for the candy.

Highly recommended for South Indian articles. its spacious and decent pricing in consideration of the norm of pondys caffes. would not be wise to order Nordic Indians. the personal is polite, but usually speaking the local language.
