Safeway Liquor - Prunedale

Worst Safeway ever. I don't work here. I need to remind you to put my **** in the car??? No, I'm not going to self-control Unless you want my half **** not ringing, what happened on many occasions, I assure you. Ooopsies! That's why you don't just combine jobs for dummies... You're lazy.

Went here for my lunch break...very nice well kept store...but I wasn't able to purchase my items because the self checkout register wouldn't let me pay without assistance. The woman up front was chatting with a customer up front about some trivial nonsense...so after patiently waiting I decided to just leave my products at the register and leave this establishment. Never coming back here again. No excuse for this kind of unprofessionalism.

I absolutely recommend the Safeway I feel very comfortable and confident that I will find what I need here in the store. I've purchased several cakes from the bakery department from birthday cakes to anniversary cakes to Mother's Day cakes all custom made pretty much with great flavors! There is a downfall to the store and what it is is the balloons. The balloons always tend to fly off the strings after leaving. Once my daughter was carrying a pretty large size balloon around the store as we were shopping and it just flew off to the top. so whoever is tying the balloons are not double knotting them. they're only tying them once and the balloons here are pretty pricey. I always get one for my daughter when we do our grocery shopping and more than once, more than twice has a balloon flew away due to not being properly tied. I have made a complaint about this a few times in person. But other than that the store is great!

It states that this location is open 24/7! Came to the store at 3:40am on Monday and a worker said they are closed. She couldn't even come close to the door to tell me she just hand gestured 4 and turned her back. Now I have to wait outside of a store that is supposed to be open 24/7 to get my wife the products she needs to feel better.

There is something wrong with this Safeway. The food never lasts long enough so I am not every sure why they put dates on anything. The lay out is strange. I couldn't find the condiments aisle for the life of me...they never have boneless chicken thighs. The staff is friendly except for one guy, but Inam not sure he works there anymore. Haven't seen him in months.
