The food was amazing, the service was impeccable! My husband is a fan of octopus and we’ve tried octopus at almost every restaurant, Sal’s has THE BEST in the world!!! The views, scenery is just the cherry on top. This was the culinary highlight of our Boston/Capes trip! We will 100% be back!!
Diner on the beach here is cinematic, unforgettable, and a must for any trip to Provincetown. The interior is also charming don’t miss the art collection. The team makes it feel like you’re being welcomed for the perfect diner at their house. Sal’s is an amazing experience that lives up its reputation every time. The restaurant opened in 1962 but was recently invigorated by Siobhan Carew of Pomadoro in Boston. Cash only. Make reservations. Go.
This restaurant experience is amazing. We had eaten in Pomodoro in the north end and were so sad when it was closed. We were so glad to hear that Sal's Place is run by the same person. The food is simply incredible that I will dream of the Carbonara! The ambience is something I will never forget. We ate outside on the deck with blankets and slip great cocktails and listen to the ocean. If you read this drop what you do and call to make a reservation!
Intimate food in PTown has its Apex with Sals square. A house on the water at the end of the trade with a small deck serves as a venue. The service is instantly intimate, as the visit of your favorite sister with the brother-in-law who takes your page in arguments. The menu is limited, but daily dishes such as the Carbonara and Chicken Parm are served with care. Meatballs make a big starter and the cauliflower Caesar was also delicious.
I can't even describe how amazing this place is. My wife and I had reservations elsewhere that were cancelled and we're happy because we landed here! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We sat outside along the water in what must be the most romantic, image perfect setting of any restaurant on the cap (they even offer you a blanket when you get cold! our waiter was so incredibly good; he was friendly, funny and attentive, without being overlaid. The cocktails were on the spot, and the food... Oh, my God, food! We had the meatballs, cauliflower stoppers, lobster alla vodka and seafood fra diavlo. Everything was absolutely excellent, but above all the lobster alla vodka. Vodka Pasta is my wife's favorite, and that was undoubtedly the most delicious vodka sauce we ever had, not to mention, it must have been a whole lobster there! In order to survive, we were brought small mobs of salted steamers before they brought the check! If you are in P city, you must experience Sal’s Place!!!
