The George On Washington St.

We went there last year for New Year 's Eve, they had a great guy playing music and singing all night, they passed out hats and champagne near midnight to everyone in the bar which was packed. This year was completely different. They had a New Year Eve menu. Food was good not great. Though the seafood tower with lobster tails jumbo shrimp and oysters was great. The surf and turf was okay. Drinks were great. The most disappointing thing was them pushing everyone out of the bar before 1130 because they were closing so no champagne and people there had to scramble to find a place to watch the ball drop and kiss their loved ones at midnight. Even heard the bartender complaining about how late it was. I will not be going there again.

Smaller, intimate setting but still plenty of privacy. Quick service. Pasta Fagioli soup was a very generous portion and it was delicious ? Salmon main dish was a bit overcooked for me. Husband had veal marsala and he enjoyed it.Again, the portions of both dishes were generous. My husband and I had sangria and both drinks...white and apple cider... were very good. We chose this restaurant due to its close proximity to PPAC. Overall a very good choice. We'd return.

First time there and four of us really enjoyed our dinner. Everything was delicious my daughter and fiancée had roasted chicken, my husband had short rib and I had chicken Francis's. I don't remember waiter name but he was very nice.

We had dinner at The George for our anniversary and it was the perfect choice. The server, AJ, was truly an asset. She was attentive and helpful with allergy information. Her friendly manner accentuated the beautiful decor. Both owners were visiting dining guests to make sure all was well. It was!! We highly recommend dining at The George.

Love the George!! Food and service are great. Prices on menu are good for an upscale restaurant but specials are on the higher end. Not my first time there and it won't be our last!
