Pasta Beach - Providence

So overall, the food was pretty good. we had the baked gnocchi with marinara sauce, calamari, and margarita pizza, pretty good. However, the service was much slower than what I would have liked. We got water after waiting around for 20min and the bar tender noticed and gave us some, we never got refills. Pizza was honest a bit of a let down, the middle of the pizza was a bit underdone. for a Neapolitan style pizza, it was also not crispy enough.I would say that this place is just ok.

I AM FURIOUS! We had reservations at 8:30 that we made online. The hostess called us saying that we needed to get there at 8:30 and the kitchen closes at 8:40. We were running 0 minutes late so they told us we couldn’t come in anymore because they would not put our food in. THAT IS RIDICULOUS. How do you offer 830 reservations if you don’t even have a 10 minute grace period!!!!! Also not to mention that we were not told this ahead of time. They left us with no place to go for dinner. SO RUDE and inconsiderate. This is literally unacceptable.

Found this on trip advisor, as close to where we were staying Clearly for the young hip crowd, loud percussive music and high tables which are not comfortable or cool. Very good service and beers. We split pizza capricciosa. Actually very good dough and real and fresh ingredients. The cook is from Napoli, so center is soggy. Americans may not be used to it. But authentic. Cane away happy, fair price

We went to Pasta Beach yesterday, my friend and I made a reservation almost a week ago and we were very excited. However, the experience was.. not as expected. I had to ask for butter 2 times, we also ordered an appetizer but it never came, when our server realized that our appetizer didn’t come she did ask if we still want it but our main course already arrived so we decided not to do the appetizer anymore. It was strange because the restaurant was not even packed as there were still empty tables, couldn’t really understand the services. Our pasta was good which is why I’m giving a 4 stars but it should have been a 3 stars. I’m not sure if i would come again. Maybe in the future I would give it another try.

Thoughtfully decorated with Italian nonchalant elegance. The food was amazing, and wine selection pairs beautifully with each meal. The bartender allowed us to taste a few wines before making our final selection. Yes, pricey but upscale and cozy!Food: 5/5
