Newport Creamery, LLC - Providence

We had Kiara as a waitress. The restaurant closes at 10pm, but she heard me ask if we cld get something else other than ice cream. We arrived around 9:20pm. She checked and the mgr allowed us to have anything that cld be done in the fryolator. She was not only personable, but very accommodating. If you ever visit this location (Smith Hill, Providence, RI) ask to be seated in her section. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy

Employees were very friendly but it was probably the worst ice cream I’ve ever had. 2 scoops was around $5.75 and both flavors were very icy. Cashew Caramel Turtle only had 1 cashew in the entire scoop. Cookie Dough scoop only had three pieces of cookie dough, which tasted almost freezer burnt, and the chocolate chips were gritty. It’s right down the street so I was hoping to make it a local favorite but it was incredibly disappointing. Better to get any grocery store brand.

The wait to be seated or to ask for drinks take so long waiters/waitress service at this location has decreased and also the quality of the food. I remember a few years ago. The great experience I had at this location and Cranston is starting to decreases in their service too. Very sad.

Was seated without being advised that there was only one cook. Have been waiting over 45 minutes for eggs… REALLY I don’t advise this as an option. Only 4 tables if guests. UNREAL

It was a nice meal and great ice cream. It feels like childhood and even though a chain, kind of like a neighborhood place. Out server was fantastic. We had melts, wraps, sundaes and banana splits. They were all very good and reasonably priced. We will all be back. We left happy and satisfied.
