Needle Thread - Providence

Needle and Thread is a stylish venue with a fantastic atmosphere reminiscent of an old-school speakeasy. The location and decor create a unique vibe, and the staff is friendly and attentive. However, the food didn't quite live up to expectations. We ordered the charcuterie board for $23, but it felt more like a $10 spread from the grocery store—very disappointing. We also shared the chicken sandwich, which was decent but nothing to write home about. It was advertised as a chicken breast but turned out to be pieces of chicken, not even a full breast. Overall, it wasn't worth the price. Needle and Thread seems like a perfect spot to enjoy a drink, socialize, and listen to live music, which starts at 11 PM. I would recommend skipping the food and visiting for a fun night out with friends after dining elsewhere.

First time going after following online since they opened. Why did I wait so long?! Food was delicious, drinks were delicious, service was fantastic! Loved the speakeasy feel, dark wood, dark walls, good music. Bar is pretty. Small and intimate settings. Never felt rushed by staff. Definitely going back

Our night was absolutely ruined by a very drunk, very loud, very inconsiderate 40 person birthday party. The restaurant should have required them to rent the entire space because no one dining there was at all pleased, and the staff was clearly unable to keep up with the party and manage to serve the rest of the tables. The cocktails we had were good, as was the charcuterie board. Both were very expensive for what they were, but this restaurant is all about ambiance, so the pricing would be understandable if said ambiance wasn’t completely destroyed by the aforementioned birthday party. I’d been looking forward to giving Needle Thread a try for quite some time, so I’ll hopefully have a better experience on a night when they don’t mismanage their space.

The server was very friendly, and the atmosphere and decor were warm and inviting, creating a cozy yet classy vibe. I loved how it became more lively as the night progressed. The drinks were amazing!
