Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and two eclairs....Absolutely out of this world... Always support the local business.

I used to live here 11 years ago, and this restaurant still smells just as delicious as it did back then. I'm hoping that my Italian bread and croissants will make it safely on the plane back to Phoenix!

The rice pie was delicious, the lemon danish was even better, and the chocolate covered macaroons were a definite yes. However, I would recommend passing on the Cannoli. The filling is empty in the middle with only a puff of ricotta at each end, which I found disappointing especially for the price of $5 each. I would suggest trying The Bread Boss, Borrellis, Market Basket, or any other place for a better cannoli experience. It was a letdown for my Italian heart to find them lacking in quality. The moral of the story is that empty cannolis do exist, leaving my soul feeling the same.

I was super excited to buy a Mardi Gras king cake at Lasalle Bakery. Having purchased other baked goods from here, I was always happy. However, despite the pretty festive decorations on this so called cake, it was horrible! It was not a cake but a frosted stale cheese strawberry danish ring with Mardi Gras decorations. Expensive too at $24. Big rip off . Guests took one bite and all complained that it was stale.
