I read about this spot a couple of months ago. Visited tonight. IT WAS SOOOO WORTH THE HOUR DRIVE! We arrived just after 6pm, just before a rush. The restaurant is bright and extremely well designed. The food was excellent. It was fresh, tasty, well seasoned and so good. We each had a regular bowl. My kids are usually picky eaters, but they each ordered custom bowls, thoroughly enjoyed them. We will be back. We have been back several times since my original post. We have ordered food to go and eaten in. Before, during and after the pandemic, Hometown has been a go-to spot for us. The food is fresh and wonderful.

Yesterday I ordered two identical chicken bowls for takeout and paid for extra protein for one of them. But unfortunately both bowls had identical amounts of protein. This is the third time the same thing happens with the same type of order. I guess I won't be ordering again. Also, $14.50 for a small bowl with mostly rice and greens is pretty overpriced. The food tastes really good but the price and amount of food are not worth the money you pay for. Perhaps Hometown could review their products and prices a little, I've talked to other customers and their perception is that this place is overpriced for what it offers.

Quick, healthy food. I don't eat raw fish but there's options for everyone. I had white rice with greens, with chicken and shrimp in my bowl, with citrus ginger dressing, and a coffee. I also got the Miso soup, delicious.

Charming poke restaurant. Great aesthetic with plenty of seating. Staff are friendly and helpful. Ingredients taste and look extremely fresh. Excellent flavor!! Lots of options for customization and variety. The korean bowl was definitely the favorite though all tasted good. Coffee was also great.
