Amazing. You can't go wrong on the menu. You need to visit Gracie's when in Providence.
Sa in the bar because it was impossible to get a reservation. Had the foie gras and rigatoni, both superb, and from waiter/bartender was very...
We dined on October 7th and I meant to review sooner- what reminded me to was the fact that I actually received a thank you for dining with us in the mail, how nice! We made reservations for our 6 year anniversary, since we got engaged earlier this year we just wanted a nice dinner for the special day. Boy did Gracie 's deliver. Everyone was nice and attentive, the presentation was lovely and the taste, oh my goodness just melt in your mouth explosion of flavor. I should also note my partner and I both have different sets of allergies and the chef was so accommodating, I even heard one server say to another table 'no worries about things like that, it 's what we do here, ' your staff in the front of the house is wonderful as is of course the kitchen, just wow. We will plan on another special day in the future. For reference we had ordered the 3-course meal. One with wine pairings and another with cocktails. The cocktails were refreshing and the wine pairings were presented between each course. Highly recommend the duck to anyone, it was the best. Not greasy, cooked just right and I 'm getting hungry just typing about it. Thank you again for a wonderful evening, cheers!
Gracie’s has been one of our favorite restaurants for special occasions for mani years. We’ve loved the tastings menus and the private room in the wine cellar. Some new items sinde the last time we were here. Beautiful new menus, wine list and whipped butter on s rock along with some great bread choices. I had the grilled octopus, which was amazing, and the ribeye. It was very chewy in some parts, which does happen from time to time on this cut. They took steak back without question and I ended up changing my entree to the lamb cooked 2 ways which was probably the best lamb I ever had in my life. The manager also gave me a free glass of wine which wasn’t requested, but much appreciated. The Rhubard dessert with the late harvest Pinot (I think) was the perfect ending. Once again Gracie’s shows why it’s one of the best in this very competitive city.
