Barnaby's Public House - Providence

This place was good! Food was good, nice decor, friendly and attentive staff.

What a hidden gem! I had dinner here with a friend, and I was pleasantly surprised by the menu, as I was expecting typical bar food (which I do enjoy). The menu features some fantastic influences, and the food was absolutely delightful! The staff was also attentive and friendly. If you're looking for a new spot to try in downtown Providence, be sure to check this place out!

I visited this restaurant after a show at PPAC and was pleasantly surprised by the burger I had at 1 AM—it definitely hit the spot! The cocktails were just average, but the atmosphere was vibrant and the modern musical ambiance made it enjoyable. Our server was friendly, although they seemed a bit overwhelmed by an unexpected late-night rush. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular here!

Restaurant was not busy. Sat at the bar, which was also not busy at all. Took bartender 10-15 mins to get to us. Wouldn’t even acknowledge we were there. Brought us coffee and lemonade. Coffee was horrible and smelled horrible. Took quite some time for our food to come out. Mine was good. My bf’s was horrible. Came out cold and some food over cooked. Hash browns were undercooked. The bacon was a joke! Tasted good, but only got 2 scrawny pieces for the price! Bartender never came to see how we were doing or how our meals were. Would look over at us and just walk away. Very unimpressed. Odds of going back slim to none!

One of the top restaurants in Providence! The staff is friendly, the bar food is elevated, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. My girlfriend and I often dine here before shows or for a casual night out.
