Al Son De Mi Barrio - Providence

I ordered a selection of tacos, and they were all delicious. However, I wish they would display prices for the food they offer. The restaurant is small and located in a somewhat run-down area. There are many customers who come in for takeout.

This is a takeout review, as I enjoyed all the food fresh in my vehicle. I ordered three different tacos and a huarache. The tacos—Pastor, carnitas, and pollo (chicken)—were outstanding, boasting great flavor and generous portions of meat. The huarache was also delicious; I had it with Pastor. Overall, I would rate this experience a solid 9.1 out of 10.

This cozy spot offers fast service, welcoming staff, and traditional cuisine. The chorizo taco was packed with flavor, while the steak taco was tasty but could have used a touch of hot sauce to suit my preference. It's conveniently located with plenty of street parking available.

Phenomenal authentic Mexican flavors. I had my first panbaso in many years here. Seems like a great combo of Mexican street food and main meals. This is not Tex Mex or 'Mexican ' inspired. This is honest tasty Mexican food.
