Abinchin Plateau offers something truly distinctive to the Providence dining scene. I ordered the vegetarian taushe and yam fufu and picked it up from 65 Bath St. This was my first experience with Nigerian cuisine, or any West African food for that matter, and I was blown away! The flavors were incredible and the meal was so comforting. It’s the kind of hearty soul food that you can't help but keep eating, even when you're full. The portion sizes are quite generous, making it very affordable—especially since you can easily get two meals out of it. I can confidently say I’ll be returning as a regular customer, and I highly recommend that you do the same!
The restaurant is frequently closed, and when it is open, the cooks often don't show up. The level of professionalism is lacking, as they don't answer phone calls. The food is consistently terrible and served cold. Overall, a very unprofessional experience.
The restaurant claims to be open and takes orders, but it always ends up being closed. They also never answer the phone.
Food was amazing very authentic tasting Nigerian approved!
