The dining area is tidy, and the staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. The food is tasty, and I love that you can select your own protein. I highly recommend trying the Mongolian and Kung Pao dishes. Our meals arrived quickly, and the restaurant was lively—there seemed to be around ten takeout orders for each dine-in customer. I'm thrilled to have a fantastic Chinese food option in Prosper!
We began with the H.K. Rice Noodles with Beef, which included street-style rice noodle dumplings mixed with carrots, snow peas, celery, cabbage, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and scallions. I was captivated by the presentation, as the rice noodles were cut into cubes—a clever idea! While the dish lacked a strong flavor, it was still enjoyable. Next, we tried the Shrimp and Lobster Mac and Cheese. This dish featured shrimp, egg, garlic, scallions, a rich three-cheese sauce, and baked rice noodle dumplings topped with toasted breadcrumbs. The blend of Asian spices and egg provided a delightful and unexpected twist on traditional mac and cheese. It was certainly one of the best versions I’ve ever had, striking the perfect cheesiness balance. We also sampled the Dragon Dumpling Burger, made with a marinated beef and pork patty, Swiss and American cheese, caramelized onions, Kewpie mayo, and a toasted English muffin, accompanied by umami fries and a Chinese-style Thousand Island dressing. The burger was a treat, with a distinct dumpling flavor shining through. The umami fries that came with the Dragon Dumpling Burger featured umami salt, pecorino cheese, garlic, sesame furikake, scallions, shichimi spices, and serrano peppers, served with a Chinese dressing. Unfortunately, these fries didn’t quite hit the mark flavor-wise, though they had a nice crispy texture. Finally, we ordered the Salt Pepper Fish Chips, which consisted of tempura basa fish, French fries, and shrimp chips, all seasoned with umami salt, scallions, garlic, dried chili, and serrano peppers, served with a ginger-dumpling vinegar tartar. The tempura was excellent, showing no signs of frozen fish; the batter was just right. However, the shrimp chips were slightly stale. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was wonderful. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff was friendly. While some may find the portion sizes a bit small, the quality of the food and the unique flavors made it all worthwhile.
Wow, what an incredible new spot for Chinese cuisine! The ambiance is stylish and immaculate, and the staff is both attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delightful! We savored lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, and kung pao chicken, and each dish was outstanding. This is definitely a place you must visit in Prosper!
The food here is fantastic. You can definitely tell a difference in the quality of meat and ingredients as compared to other places. It?s a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
What a fantastic meal! I ordered more than I could eat so brought the leftovers home for dinner. I got the chicken lettuce wrap as an appetizer, then had their pad Thai noodles with chicken as my entree. The lightly pickled cucumbers really set the meal off! So good! I'll definitely be back to eat more!
