Virsa Delights - Prospect

Absolutely delicious Indian vegetarian restaurant. This cafe was the old cafe chennai - different management, different dishes and different services. The decorations was alright - cafe look a lot brighter and spacious now. Staffs are very kind and helpful but can be very shy at times. Menu - has a lot to choose from. When I say a lot it really means a lot. There would be about 8 entree to choose from, so many different snacks. 10+++ mains to choose and not to mention dosa and roti and etc... Wow not that I wana complain as its good for customers but this must be hard for the chef. Nonetheless, I absolutely enjoy just by reading the menu, can get sometimes confusing what to order. The first time I was there, I was clueless so I decided to order the thali. Thali consists of three different curry serve with rice, naan and papadum plus dessert. If you are a small eater, thali can be share between two people. It is really filling. One of the must try snacks is paani puri, it's such a unique dish, I love the spices in the sauce and the sweetness of the chutney. It is absolutely divine. The food here is really good. Definitely recommend to give it a go. You would not be dissapointed.

Sad to see that this vegetarian restaurant now serves meat. the facility was underwhelming, like the ambiente, very quiet for a Saturday night. that was okay, we asked for medium and it was very hot so foreseeable. there was a revolt in the smell when we left the restaurant that had left an unpleasant feeling (melt of the raw watering). eating was ok. ask and coworkers will offer them a menus that are vegan and no wobbles / garlic options marked

A great Indian, completely vegetarian restaurant, which was removed from the main north street, in view. that was my first visit with my daughter for a late father's dinner. the menu is very extensive, very cheap and the actual dishes were fresh and full of mouthwatering spicy taste. I usually don't eat, as I can prepare my own restaurant quality meals easily, but if it's about Indian cuisine, I wouldn't be able to get close to those we had at virsa delights. soon again with partner and friends.
