Shanker's - Prospect

I like this place. Good service. Owner is fab. Food is pretty good. A little more salt for the soul would be good. A nice fun spot to sit outside and watch the Prospect life come alive. I would go back for sure.

Pretty disappointing overall. Had to wait about an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did it was....ok. Tried 5 different dishes and non of them stood out as something that would bring us back. If you're going to charge premium prices, the food better live up to it as well but unfortunately it didn't. Anyone who thinks this place is a top indian restaurant in Adelaide probably hasn't tried many places. There are places that have twice as good food for half the price. Overall, very disappointing :(

Decent range on the menu. Food is good, but nothing special considering the pricing. Atmosphere is perhaps a little tense. Wines are also overpriced - especially corkage! Wait staff are polite.

Cute little Indian place on prospect road, we always used to drive past but didn't think of stopping there until one day we did! the food was actually really nice and authentic and the service was great! there are not many nice places in Adelaide that do nice Indian food so this was great!

Their Dosai was as authentic as it would be. Beware of the Hot Vindaloo, it was properly hot but was so good.  The service was pleasant and friendly which made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable.
