Prospectors And Grille - PROSPECT PARK

If you're driving up 95 right now, first of all what the hell are you doing reading Yelp? Eyes on the road, dammit! But while you're at it, hop off of the 420 North exit and make a quick left at the light. There's a hidden gem there on the corner. Simply put, Prospectors makes one hell of a sandwich! I went for the hot roast turkey sandwich. It's real turkey off the bone with gravy on a huge Kaiser roll. It's worth pulling off the highway for. Believe me.

Nice neighborhood bar. Always friendly staff and fun, friendly crowd. Great place to stop for a drink. Can get loud at times. Mostly locals, they all have that juke box app and mess with your music (that can get old). Decent beer selection on tap, limited import and craft beers. Has Guinness on tap! Can make cool shots including alligator something¿¿? Decent bar food, fresh and made to order. Pretty good size menu with variety. Nachos are just OK, they use cheez whiz. Always good bartenders, cold beer, good menu, great music selection and clean bathroom, what more can you ask. Place has a good vibe, seems pretty laid back place to hang out.

Fine little neighborhood bar a couple blocks from my house. Cheap booze, good staff and some good people watching. On the outside it looks like a scary biker bar, it's not. Staff is very friendly.

Being from south philly i cant beleive im actually saying this but they have delicious roast beef sandwiches i really enjoyed it. This place is also a great place to have a beer and a shot! Highly recommended

I used to like this bar. Bartender are great but beware when getting food. Waite staff is unfriendly and even if they mess your order up somehow its your fault.
