Ficus Above - Princeton

That was a very good meal. I really wanted to like eating; a byob restaurant less than 10 minutes from home. I have read mixed critikens, but the last seemed pretty good. at 7:30 a.m. on a Friday night, another couple had just begun to go and I was alone. no worries like my server (a student at college where I teach) said how unusual that is. I enjoyed the kartoffel coquets that was a simple, uncomplicated starter, but my appetit wonderful whetting. I came for the duck and often had it at some really fine central and north jersey places in the run of the years, I thought that this was really well prepared. I asked and said it was from new york. that was part of what I expected and quite expensive. I think the cook has made a great job, from preparation to presentation, with a very good product. I look forward to exploring the rest of their menu.

It was great. the deli below and the first greeting make them think how where to the teufel I am, but eating and the service was great. I'll be back. a negatiw, I guess is too much of a witness on the table like the Christmas plant.

Wonderful culinary experience. eating and atmosphere were amazing.

Food was very good but they forgot one of our entrees (a salad) and the rest of us were finished before they made the salad and served it. Also, our waitress avoided us after the mistake was made. I would recommend next time trying to do something to compensate rather than avoiding.

An interesting discovery in Princeton with a great brunch/lunch menu. Excellent service and a great treatment of the classics like eggs benedict.
