Big Tacos Tres Gallos - Princeton

Great Mexican restaurant, Princeton TX. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Princeton and for many miles around. We've been eating there once or twice a week since we've been caring for a few months ago. The food is so freshly tasting and has a quality far above the average tex-mex we enjoyed until we found this place. It is small and disappointing on the outside, but the food was always great when we visited. Small family business. Freshest tasting guacamole, chips, delicious salsa, love the pulled pork taco with fresh Zilantro and chopped onion on double corn tortillas. Yum! It's so good and cheap. I would recommend it very much. You can order ala Carte or with pages, so there is no waste and less cost if you want a smaller part. (Most places only allow children or seniors of this privilege) The outside is not chic, but it is clean and consistent very good Mexican foods.

Ii loved this place, but how many new restaurants the passion and attention to the details of fresh good tasting food-soon walks. I went there this last weekend and it was taco bell quality. the owners were not there and they hired inattentive staff who see my dinner as just doing a job. I know it's a just job, but there are too many other places that serve average food and I don't have to go all the way to Princeton.

Wonderful family business. The food is very fresh and clean. We absolutely love the tilapia, shrimp, ceviche, aguachile. This is one of Princeton's best secrets. Absolutely it has to try.

4.5 stars very simple menu to choose. Reminds me of a “Taco Truck”. Standing exterior seats for when the weather is beautiful. We have the keviche and a beef currito. I was disappointed with no vegetarian options. Veggie Tacos would have been great. All drinks are in bottles from the refrigerator you take. No masks for chefs or servers. The food was delicious and quite expensive.

Saw all the great reviews and had to give this place a try, and soooo glad I did! Ordered the Tacos Al Pastor and they were amazing! So much flavor in each one and the meat portions were perfect. Service was also great! Can’t wait to go back to try some other things from the menu
