Sassafras Savouries - Prince George

We chose this establishment to cater to emergency staff during the wildfires and it was an eclectic group that was being fed. All felt the variety, quality and consistent service were above reproach and met our high standards (good food, reasonable price, variety etc ) The first day we were provided with two soups and a variety of thick and well prepared sandwiches. The soup was so good, most people had several helpings to satisfy their palate...very impressed with the catering from them.....highly recommended.

I ordered the french toast and avocado slices and a long shot Americano (again). It is still the best French toast I have ever had, it has a custard like taste. Yummers. I love how they offer side orders for smaller appetites. Lovely presentation as well.

Nothing special here. i had the breakfast burrito and it was a sloppy mess. not a lot of flavor. soft day old orange and kiwi slice for garnish. service was slow despite 2 tables in restaurant. would not repeat as there are other better places in town.

Sassafras Savouries is an excellent restaurant for breakfast (I am sure for lunch too but I have had only breakfast here). The food is not only visually appealing but very good. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. Absolutely no complaints.

I have been here about 5 times in the last year and have always been pleased. It's quiet and spacious, easy to have a meeting here or a meal with family. They have great coffee and keep coming back to refill. My favourite is the egg muffin sandwich with sautéed vegetables. I also find they have the best hashbrowns in town, sprinkled with parsley.
