If you been to a taco time, you've pretty much been to all of them.

Very nice people that run the place. Campground laundry, washrooms, and showers are in bad need of a complete rebuild. Some sites have power and water on the wrong side. sewer connection was broken. Never ate at the restaurant

Very beautiful spot! Unfortunately, bookings can only be done by email, which can get very confusing. We wanted 30 amp power, water and sewer, so I checked those boxes on their form and the any box, thinking that they would recommend any site that included all of my requirements. We were booking for three nights and I also noted on their form that we were traveling with our dog. We were meeting with our daughters family and wanted to be beside their unit, but wanted a spot that was not really close to others. A few sites were recommended, so we picked two that looked decent in the pictures. Upon checking in, our dog wasn't on the form that the lady gave me. Oh well. We went to the spot we had booked, beautiful view of the lake. The people next to us had their vehicles parked in our site, but moved when we got there. We shoe-horned our trailer into the site and started to set up. There was a picnic table at our site, then about a ten foot drop-off to the beach area. The photo really looked nicer than the actual spot. Going behind our trailer to put blocks down, the loose dog from the next site barked at me. I was starting to think that this was not going to work with our dog. It seemed like there were a lot of people settled into the Resort permanently. Our daughter and son-in-law arrived and we decided to join the group area with other family reunion members, because we were not satisfied with our sites. The drop off behind our sites was too treacherous for our toddler grandson.We went to the Purden Lake Resort Restaurant to discuss our issues. We were told that they do not provide refunds, and that we should have paid more attention to the booking process. On their map, it looked like we would be fairly close to the lake with a grass area between us and the lake, not a ten foot drop-off. The lady at the restaurant finally gave in and said she might be able to give one of us a refund.

We happened upon this resturant and decided to stop for brunch. What a find. The decor was awesome! The service was not the best. We wondered who was supposed to do what? The food was excellent. It was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the surroundings outside. We are so glad we stopped! Also loved the bathroom faucets that were molded after a cistern pump.
